Noah is 9 years old

This year, we decided to reward Noah with a Pool Birthday Party. Nothing fancy, just some friends over at Leslie's pool. A simple affair turned out to be a big birthday bash for Noah, it really made his day! It was swim games, land games, food and the birthday cake. Oh yes, there was the pinata competition.

Well, I told Noah we are not going to have a party till the next Olympics!

Pete's Graduation

This is Pete's moment....After a gruelling 7 months at the School of Leadership, he has finally completed with great Thanksgiving to the Lord. He has been good to the family and keeping us together and we are so proud of Pete.

Kong, Sandy and Christian at Chok Chai Farm

Enjoy these pictures....

Chok Chai Farm

We took a day trip to the farm on 6 Feb. Farm Chok Chai - It’s an Agro tour place just 159 kilometers from Bangkok, where you can get a feel of farm life in the largest standard dairy cattle farm through seeing the real farm life and having hands on experience with the help of tour guides.

True enough, this was another highlight of our trip as our "urban" kids had a chance to see cows, horses, animals in general up close and personal.

It was a great treat for Noah especially as he had the chance to milk a cow, sit on a horse, feed animals and ride an ATV.

Kids, Kids, Kids. Kids will always be kids!!!

Noah and Christian spending time in malls and streets of Bangkok

Gameboys - see what I mean?

Nicole, Nathan, Noah, Christian - put 4 of them together and they can be a handful. But we just love to see them together! Nathan and Noah, well, when together, they are always looking over a Nintendo DS or Gameboy. Nicole, either with her music or looking out for the smaller ones. And Christian - yes, sweetie, we know you like TOPATO and CHEESE.

Reunion Dinner

The usual REUNION Dinner this year was at Shan's in Bangkok. We had a traditional steamboat meal with all the works. Yummy.

Gong Xi Gong Xi - Chinese New Year 2008

This year, the SAM entourage packed off to Bangkok to visit Che Che and Nicole and Nathan. Mum flew in from Jakarta. Like other years, Chinese New Year morning was the usual Gong Xi Gong Xi. The exchange of ang pao was done at Nicole's house.

Countdown at the Cornerstone

Dec 31, 2007, 10 - 12 midnight 2008

It was great ushering in the New Year at church with our FAMILY in Christ.

The Bahasa Fellowship put up an item.

Sen played the guitar and chereographed the dance by the members.

Can you spot YATI at the front row?

Noah - the photographer

Noah seems to have inherited the great artistic talent of Sen. He loves a good design and can always seem to capture good picture. Also, with a camera at hand, there is no lack of nice images and perspectives he can capture.

During the school holidays, we took a trip to the zoo.

Here are some of the pictures he took.

The Singapore Zoo has a fresh new look, and I must admit (after going to many zoos after the many trips we made), I really enjoyed it. The new renovations, signages and information panels/exhibits were very educational and the experience was great.

I must say this, even the kangeroos here look better than the one we saw "down under" hee hee!

Enjoy.

Noah's sleepover party

Noah has a great friend - Oliver and they spent the last day of 2007 in a tent at Stangee Park. Ha Ha.

To a great Friendship!

BLESSED 2008!!!!

From Us in Singapore to our loved ones - Blessed New Year!!!!

We really look forward to spending more time with you all this year.

Merry Christmas

Blessed Christmas! This year, I cooked a scrumptious turkey, beef and ham and had family over. As usual, too much food. Next year, I promise to cook LESS.

Noah's prezzies : Lego, Tamoguchi, Books, XBox Cartridge, Running Shoes :-) WOW!

It has Been a Long Long Time .... ....

Hi Hi

Since the last update, we have been holding up very well, Pete has moved to a spanking new office, Noah has finished Primary 2, English and Math - very good, Chinese (hmm) Band 3 (which is not very good in Singapore terms), and Alve has been enjoying new lecturing job.
